Still Defining The Direction of the long term

Pros

Exposure to diversified co-workers, re-establishing commitment to employees through training. Brand is still considered a premiun product. Management has shown interest in the strengths and short-comings of the buisness, where under IR buisness practices were driven top down without regard for buisness needs until the practices would grind the process to a halt.

Cons

Short term gains are not weighed against long term losses. Cost saving measures not properly done harm the company through increased work, unsatisfied customers, and warranty claims.

not up to date with computer systems/software- accounting system was so out of date! Downsize to St. Louis.

Good working environment, good location. Company tries to drive improvement, but lacks on follow through. Better than being un-employed. 20 words! whew!

Cons

Too much movement within company. Functional gaps within the organization due to poor resource planning. Positions are eliminated domestically and created in lower cost countries.
