Pros

A consistent five‑day work week schedule.

Cons

Hussmann may be a recognizable name, but the internal experience is far from positive. Management is consistently reported as disorganized, unresponsive, and disconnected from the day‑to‑day realities employees face. Support from leadership is minimal, and follow‑through on basic issues is often lacking. Advancement is rare, and many employees feel stuck with no clear path forward regardless of performance or effort. These problems contribute to a workplace culture that feels negative, discouraging, and unnecessarily stressful. Stronger leadership, real opportunities for growth, and a genuine commitment to employee well‑being are badly needed. I would never recommend working at Hussmann.

Pros

The people you get to work with. There are many there that bleed blue.

Cons

Very hard to get promoted if you already work there. Many leaders don't know how to lead and exhibit hubris towards those that do.
