-Generally flexible scheduling -Friendly coworkers -Good for a 1st part-time job (esp. high schoolers)
Cons
-College students frequently taken advantage of (overworked and underpaid) -Constantly asked to come in early, stay late, or pick up extra shifts, often without overtime pay/etc. -Corporate often prioritizes customer happiness over employee well-being (while customer satisfaction is important, disrespect/hostility/racism/etc. directed toward workers is unacceptable and shouldn't be ignored)
