Pros

It is a good company and they like to promote from within. There is also an opportunity to make a good amount of money. They try really hard to show how much they care for theor employees.

Cons

I felt like because of my age and being a girl I wasn't promoted as quickly as others. They have a management training program that puts people that don't know what they are doing in different departments and that is annoying. I also felt that the managers were slightly negative and didn't give credit where credit was due.

Pros

...a company that has solid focus on customers service, product consistency and employee development. Hyatt is a company that sticks to its standards thus, this is the place whre young professionals learn the fundamentals of hospitality. In recent years the company has embarked on to an aggressive development plan that may create great opportunities for employees' development.

Cons

as Hyatt relies more on internal employee development, compensation seems to be a bit lower that other leading hospitality companies in the world. The only other thing that comes to mind is there may be a certain rigidity when it comes to innovation and trying new things...
