Great people, but company isn’t doing well in the current market
Pros
• A very nice CEO and great group of people to work with • Good benefits and perks such as unlimited PTO, 401k, a discount on a hydrow, fabletics and free subscription to headspace and more • A good sense of work life balance and has a hybrid work life (can be remote or go to the office when you want)
Cons
• Hydrow unfortunately went through layoffs in July of 2022. About 35% of the company was let go. • Not sure what the future holds for this company, especially given how fitness tech in general doesn’t seem to be doing well in the current market. Hopefully that could change as their ultimate goal is to go public. • Definitely was underpaid for my role and to get a promotion, managers have to plead with exec team to give you a raise. Not sure if current employees will get a raise as there have been layoffs and no hiring happening for now.
