Pros
There are plenty of reasons why I enjoy working at Hyve. First and foremost, I enjoy the environment - it's very fast paced, so you do need to work quickly and efficiently to keep up. And you have to common sense. If you can't or don't, you won't make it here. The people around you are among the best and brightest minds in the industry and we're all working towards a collective goal - continuing to close more business and expand the company. Overall, if you have a positive can-do attitude, a knack for solving issues and improving processes, and are willing to put in the effort, you will do well here. It all starts at the top and luckily for Hyve, we have a management team that enlists an open door policy. They are genuinely willing to listen to you and make changes where needed in order to achieve our goal. In addition to the bright minds within the company, we also have the opportunity to work with some of the hottest Cloud Service Providers in the world.
Additionally, Management is monitoring the business closely and is willing to invest where investment is warranted. This includes infrastructure, systems, and most importantly personnel. Management recognizes that good, capable talent is extremely important to have and retain.
Lastly, there is ample opportunity for growth here at Hyve. Due to the rate at which we are expanding, Hyve is constantly looking to acquire top talent. Cons
Sure, sometimes we do have to work long hours (some groups more than others). There never seems to be enough time in the day to accomplish everything. But, assuming that you're able to manage your time well and willing to put in a few extra hours where needed, it's really no different than any other workplace. Management isn't clock-watching, so as long as you're getting your work done, hours can be flexible as well.
