Upper management shares company goals and communicates those on at least a quarterly basis. Very knowledgeable and skilled employees from both business and technical leaders. Benefits far exceed expectations.

Pros

The CEO, Bill Cunningham, is a great leader and the company has excellent ownership in Peter Kellogg. There is an emphasis on work-life balance and employee engagement, very generous benefits and lots of development opportunities. The culture in the Kansas City office is very positive.

Cons

PTO is very generous but there are no options to "cash out" unused time. It can be difficult to use all of your PTO and keep your workload current.

I feel truly lucky to work at IAT. I have never worked for a company that so evidently cares about its employees. The benefits that IAT provides are proof of how much the company cares- - 7% 401K Match -Dress For Your Day Policy -26 PTO Days & 3 Floating Holidays -Paid Paternity Leave -Performance Bonuses -Educational Assistance Program -Charitable Match Program The comradery between my team and manager creates an enjoyable work environment. Our CEO, Bill, is the most personable CEO I have ever encountered. He makes an effort to get to know every employee and seeks out feedback. In fact, we have a quarterly all employee webcast where he answers any and all questions and actively listens to employee feedback. The company has added benefits and made changes directly resulting from these employee webcasts. Not coming from an insurance background, I didn't know what to expect, but I'm thrilled that I made the switch and I'm extremely proud to work at IAT!
