Engineering company with minimal interaction for local offices

With the company being owned and operated out of Toronto, Canada, our office has received a couple additional holidays.

Cons

The company is detached from the local offices and their involvement in our day to day activities is minimal...which is good, but it would be nice to have a little more direction from the companies leaders. Our office prior to the acquisition had a pretty clear path for receiving raises and to some extent promotions. Since the merger, this has all but disappeared. We are also working diligently to get our foot in the door for new project types without much visible help from the IBI Group

There are many programs that allow our staff to grow within IBI. Mid and year-end reviews are a great way to have open dialogue with managers; the Mentorship program is a way to connect with someone and gain valuable insight; and Percipio, our new learning platform, enables employees to grow and improve their skillsets. Yearly compensation reviews are conducted to ensure we are in line with market values.
