Pros

We are all encouraged to learn - not only for our current and future job roles, but for anything we're interested in. It gives us tremendous freedom to explore what we enjoy and pursue a career path that engages us. In many areas, we can work from home. Some job roles require being in an office setting part time but many do not.

Cons

As with any large company (and IBM is definitely large), bureaucracy sometimes gets in the way - or at least slows us down. But if you're willing to push through that, any individual can make a great contribution.
