Pros

IBM has may diverse avenues to travel in any career direction. If one gets tired of their job, they can look within IBM and move to something different within their field of training or something completely different. IBM strives to encourage team work and mentoring, so move to another job can be a good experience.

Cons

There are some areas where IBM has managed to under-staff which can cause undue stress. They try to encourage open communication across all levels of management, but sometimes it seems the communication lands on def ears. One has to take the recognition and not stress on the ignored.
