Pros

No pros from my perspective

Cons

Old management style that do not care for quality nor people in their teams, you are just a number and your work and dedication do not count for them. They build and promote a culture of micromanagement and toxicity, it is a passive aggressive environment. Professional growth and development is none existence, the trainings they make you take are non related with your job core as an employee, they are ridiculously long and time consuming. Moving to a different account is just a dream even though they tell you is easy and you will have a lot of opportunities, which is a lie. They prefer cheap workers from the Philippines and other third world countries instead of quality and performance. High cost, low coverage health benefits.

Pros

Good benefits with decent pay. Many excellent people.

Cons

Declining senior executive management and little accountability at the C level for poor performance. Substandard bonuses for workers while senior executives rewarded for poor results. Little organic growth in market share or revenue causes senior executives to cut people and expenses to preserve their bonuses leading to a slow death spiral. Sadly, the Finance people run IBM NOT the technologists and the innovators.

Pros

Pay, remote work, and working alongside good, genuine people.

Cons

Management was useless. When I offboarded, HR never contacted me, which is very odd especially for how big of a company IBM is...So, I had zero guidance or help. You were truly a number here and nothing more. Roles and territory seem to change every six months to a year. You will finally become familiar with a client or an account, and then JK, it's pulled from you, and now you have to learn from the beginning about something or someone else. This happened to me about 8, maybe even more times in my 4.5 years at IBM, which is wrong. How can a sales rep or anyone succeed that way?
