      IBM really does not care about customer satisfaction and they never invest in their infrastructure so there are way too many outages for customers.

      Github, Slack, security and complacency if you're into that kind of thing.

      Cons

      Internal tools like email and calendar are impossible to use. Modern companies use Gmail or Exchange. "Success" is defined by sales revenue, not usability or quality. VPs are very boring, grandparent-like, and submissive people who don't think outside the box and probably haven't seen much of the world. Culture is about fitting in and not standing out. Instead of using good tools like AWS (that most IBM employees want to use), IBM tries to take it on with the IBM Cloud. Ask a good systems or dev ops engineer what they really think about IBM Cloud. Don't take on a giant, use them and pivot your business to improve your quality.

      Pros

      Decent pay, work-life balance, most people are nice.

      Cons

      Bureaucratic, no perks, unexciting work, legacy systems (e.g. Lotus Notes), boring projects for tech talent. IBM is definitely the laggard in all of the industries it's operating in.
