Great place to start your career, but the novelty wears out soon

Great bunch of people to work with, flexible work environment, work life balance, ton of education, good exposure to technology.

Cons

Not what it used to be. Slow innovator. Hardly any recognition for hard work. Management is happy to keep you where you are. The company seems to be run by HR and sales. 50/55 hrs become the norm to get average rating. You can sign your life but won't get excellent rating just because there is not enough quota.

Shift is away from rewarding software sales teams even though deals are complex Reviews are based on relative peformance, so in a small team, even though metrics are hit, IBM gets squirrely, reviews are right out of a Dilbert comic script IBM peforms funny math on quota attainment, OTE and they take away base salary only to have you "earn" it back under the compensation plan

Flexible hours of working.Good network of knowledge resources.

Cons

Lack of career progression.Employee career aspirations are forsaken for the sake of project.Absolute non transparency in perks and benefit policies.Neither quality of work nor good compensation. Fitment for existing employees on par with the lateral hires is very absurd.Overall, not a good company if one wants to pursue in a technical stream. Only managers can do well here.
