Pros
An extremely friendly environment. Everyone in my department took the time to genuinely welcome me either in person or via e-mail within my first few days of employment. They were also very inclusive in all their personal social activities.
Cons
In terms of advancement to higher, more responsible and higher paid positions, it's severely competitive. In this current economic market, it's understandable that access to these positions goes to the more senior, long-term employees... nevertheless... it would be a plus to be equally considered by management, whether you're new or old, as long as you're skilled and qualified.
