      Pros

      Lots of challenging experiences, you are exposed to management and senior levels -and are given huge responsibilies from day one, the international and fast changing atmosphere is always very demanding but extremely rewarding also

      Cons

      It is a very huge company so it can result stressfull sometimes in order to get a smooth running -in terms of paperwork

      good variety of customers - you will get experience! lot of customers with the highest level expectations/leading edge high skill level - challenging and supporting: your skills are valued and fostered clear career path good education and mentoring system, hand in hand with training on the job international jobs and assignments, relocation services concise processes and standards thought leadership in many areas

      Cons

      high workload, especially at "magic deadlines" (quarter/year end) stress coming from diversity (cultural, many timezones, global processes) not a 8-15 job if you are not the best than you are replaceable

      Pros

      IBM has what I would consider competative salary. There are always chanllenges, and employees are allowed to do what needs to be done. Usually upper management listens to the advice of those of us that know our jobs.

      Cons

      The chances of getting a different job/position or whatever for a US employee is virtually non-existant. Training has been cut back to almost nothing.
