      The name IBM, people respect it.

      Cons

      Huge Company, takes alot of people to get anything done. Have to hold everyone's hand to make sure a sale gets closed and shipped.

      Pros

      The rang of opportunities is very high. A lot of very talented people work here. While not always easy to find, there are projects that are on the bleeding edge of technology.

      Cons

      High barrier to ship projects; a lot of non-functional requirements to keep in mind (globalization, accessibility, etc.) that detract from interesting work. Hard to be promoted if in a top-heavy organization with a lot of senior engineers.

      Pros

      IBM rather than IBM India is the place where individual dream is aligned with the IBM dream and this is the best part of this company and I think most of the good educated professional needs this only rather than salary. Its true that salary (Compensation and Benifits) is very necessary to lead a good gentleman life and also due to the current inflation :-), but IBM is a company which I beleive that takes care of the good professional in every respect, yet I have joined new I dont know much about IBM but still looking in a positive way. This is the reason I choose IBM to work rather than having lots of opportunity.

      Cons

      Education should be taken into consideration and it should reflect the Compensation and Benifits.
