Pros

Remote work (only management & client facing teams are required to work from the office 3 days a week; lower level assets, and people living more than 50 miles away are exempt]. Large salary (min. 84k - max 196] for Band 7 (IBM has levels: Band 6 - 9]. A very flexible schedule - I have to complete a task, but can work anytime of day you can stop and go to the doctors, pick up kids, or go to the gym and then pick right back up and keep working...as long as your work is done & you don't have meetings.

Cons

IBM's work culture is distant and impersonal. The offices are 85% empty as most staff work from home, and even on the days you go to the office, we are all working independently being from different unrelated teams - it feels like a library study hall with cubicles. Staff do not normally turn on their camera for Teams meetings, and many don't even have a picture with their name - just a grey person icon. Also, we are judged by utilization - meaning the amount of hours worked that are billable to a client; for you to be able to hit your utilization goal (92% - for Band 7] you have to work around 45 hours a week to be able to take two weeks holiday, an occasional sick day, and still hit that goal.
