The MCC program is very separate from the other interns. They have a few events where they interact, but midway into the summer, when people have already formed their friend groups. Pay is Great compared to other marketing internships. Not great compared to other big tech marketing programs (Google BOLD, Microsoft ACE, Amazon)

Too much bureaucracy, that's one thing. There's no way you can effectively push your own ideas. It will be obsolete before it gets reviewed and approved by the leadership, if they decide to do that. There's lack of agility. In Kraków, where I worked, company seemed to be overhiring. At some point, three new people joined my team and they were doing nothing for months. It's not that they didn't want to, there was nothing to do for them! They kept watching YouTube tutorials and doing online courses. Plenty of incompetent people. Many of them should be at least one seniority level (band) below. The company should actually do better job with PIPs (but let's base these PIPs on actual metrics to get rid of people that deserve that) and fire more. And, what's the most important for me, your engineering work and impact on the project doesn't make you a winner, but being a sycophant and a pleaser towards your manager does!
