Pros

* Great professional people to work with * Many tools and resources available * Big projects with wonderful contributions to society * Lots of volunteer opportunities * Depending on management, might be supported to grow career * Ability to submit patent ideas * Lots of inside educational opportunities

Cons

* Cost cutting has affected travel and education to cut them to a minimum * Confusion over moving folks to remote work at home and now stressing co-location * Employees pushed to be working all the time and late hours, so not a lot of time or desire for people to socialize or for education opportunities * Many are living in a state of wondering when they may be hit by a layoff * Layoffs seem to be random
