Pros

Everyone is positive and uplifting. The management truly cares about their employees. And there are numerous ways to grow within the company. They help you set goals and reach them. The benefits are great!

Cons

The only disadvantage is if you want to live outside of Idaho, you would have to leave this amazing place.

Pros

Idaho Central has been a great company to work for. Overall, the culture has been fantastic and I have learned so much over my career. The benefits are incomparable to other companies and overall, they hire fantastic talent.

Cons

As ICCU has grown, I feel like the culture has changed. Maybe I’m not suited for a large-scale company, but the focus has been a little less on the people and a little more on the numbers. ICCU also still pays less then the competition. The benefits make up for most of it, but some of the positions are comparable to other positions locally.

Pros

ICCU is an amazing place to work! The environment is great, benefits are very competitive, and it's a genuine place to build a career.

Cons

There is a particular Vice President that has climbed the corporate ladder because of their close connections with Executives that do not uphold the core values that ICCU stands for. This person does not lead by example in an uplifting and encouraging manner, but rather by fear. He frequently sets unrealistic standards for the multiple departments that he is over that do not coincide with the policies put in place by ICCU as a whole. Working under this person is extremely unnerving and stressful.
