Pros

Good culture, people care about you, Christmas gifts, paid federal holidays.

Cons

Really hard to move up and progress in your career, not looking towards the future of remote work like other FI's, pay is not good, definitely favoritism within departments and favoritism for specific departments from upper management, have to use PTO when sick, senior management and even upper management out of touch with "regular" lower employees.

Pros

The people you work around are very kind. You get to work with people that want to do and be better. Benefits are good. People are generally happy in office.

Cons

Livable Wage - ICCU would rather tell you to reevaluate your spending than consider the cost of the market you live in. The people making adjustments to pay live in Pocatello and do not understand the cost of living in the Treasure Valley, North Idaho or Spokane area. Asking for a raise is frowned upon no matter what HR says. Spanish - ICCU does not pay you for speaking Spanish even though they make so much off of the Spanish speaking community, they don't want to pay for that skill set and they will ask Spanish speaking staff to invest time they do not have on projects to better the CUs Spanish rather than invest in a team that is dedicated to translating documents and community outreach. Opportunity for growth - ICCU is bent on keeping growth opportunities and diverse career opportunities in Chubbuck.

Pros

ICCU Executives are down to earth and make the effort to get to know their employees, Pay is competitive and continuous, ICCU employees are kind and helpful, and we get involved in the community frequently. We're here for our members. Our Members, The Credit Union, Our Team and Then Ourself. A Company that strives to be loved by ALL.

Cons

I've been here for five years and have yet to have a "con" to make me want to reconsider my career here. There is lots of growth in the Credit Union. SO many positions to move too if you're getting restless or what to learn something new :)
