Pros

Idaho Central Credit Union makes it a point to hire the best people. This shows in the environment and culture. We work hard and we play hard. We love being involved in the community. Management is understanding towards team members and always try and do their best to help them succeed.

Cons

I sit at a desk for 8 hours a day because there is always something to work on. I need to schedule time during my day for some short breaks to refocus and remain productive. We always have treats and snacks the people bring in which is a good think and a bad thing.

Pros

Benefits, Great 401K match, heath insurance was very good coverage, they give you gifts from iPad's to Oakley sunglasses and Nike Shoes.

Cons

Management is very one sided. If you made one mistake they do not allow you to grow from it instead they hold it against you for future promotions, if they dont like you, they will not allow you to advance in the company. Pay was not acceptable for level of expectation from management-they said the other gifts were included in the compensation package

Pros

Expansion. Sweet gifts. Pretty great atmosphere. Paid time off is great.

Cons

Attempts to permeate every facet of your life. Lot's of extra work expected to be put in that doesn't contribute to your professional growth i.e. community service. I believe that this is a great way to market the company to the community but the goals are a bit over stated. Employees that are being paid on the lower end of the spectrum should not be told that "you are expected to participate." Tell that to the family or pay the baby sitter. Because of growth that is almost irresponsible many people are being promoted that are not qualified and hiring standards have dropped, that's just a given for any company going for growth on this magnitude. Senior management is extreme and into micromanagement.
