      Pros

      ICCU does a really good job at hiring highly talented individuals. I loved those that I worked with. They also had way more work than hands to do it, more than what is usually present in other organizations. This allowed me to take over main administrative systems that need attention and learn them much faster than I could have elsewhere.

      Cons

      They outwardly discourage talking about pay, to the point where they will pull you in another room and chastise you for it. They don't promote within (unless you are an executive, they routinely get promotions for made up positions). The amount you make coming into the company will only grow with a 1-3% yearly rate regardless of paygrade promotions. The only serious talk about increasing my pay was when I put in my 2 weeks.

      Pros

      Idaho Central offers a unique opportunity to really tap into your strengths and not dwell on your weaknesses. Using a talent profile to put people in the right job has been a successful model for most of the Credit Union.

      Cons

      The downside of the talent+ model is that the employee can feel like their constantly competing with peers, and trying to prove they're the best in order to be considered for a promotion. The expectations to always put work first is real.

      Awesome Growth Opportunities, Great Benefits, Great Culture

      Cons

      Pay could be more competitive due to how close we are to Washington. Being a great place to work keeps people around but long term it would be nice to have more competitive pay especially for higher level positions.
