Pros

Great people. Exceptional benefits and salary

Cons

Lots of innovation theatre. Only care about stock price and perception of the company. Most risk-averse company ive ever been associated with. They do a lot of talking on their creative/digital side but will not take a risk. They have shifted to an order taker mentality while they tout as disruptors and change agents with human empathy at the core. Recently have started following tropes and industry standards.

Pros

Thursday afternoon meetings with beer.

Cons

Thursday afternoon meetings listening to weak & cocky ‘leadership’ sell themselves while talent and clients disappear around them.

Hello fellow ICFer. One thing that feels really special to most people I meet here at ICF is that people feel like they have the ability to influence great outcomes for their clients and teams. We do work here that truly changes lives. This is a rare opportunity in the world of work. If you're feeling frustrated with current situations, it might help to take stock of what you wish were different and have an honest dialogue with your manager. Be the change you wish to see.

Pros

You may meet some good people! They have a shuttle for the metro There is a gym on site

Cons

ICF is cheap - Pay is low for the area / compared to other firms No yearly incentive Be aware you may be hired for one thing, but end up doing something completely different The cafe sucks - also nowhere else to eat lunch in walking distance Pretty much all work is government contracts, not really stable. They’ll tell you they have commercial work but I doubt you’ll see it. They only care about utilization/ billable hours, not your professional development. Not culturally diverse on the LEADS analytics team Not diverse age wise (barely any younger employees) My manager was fine, we just barely had check ins
