Pros
Great work atmosphere with smaller teams compared to other banks. You get to know how all the desks perform. The UK office as started recently so you can be part of a team which is still budding. The company provides lot of training programs for the advancement and growth of the employee. They also give lot of responsibility in the initial phase of your career. The senior management keeps all the employees informed about the company strategy and how it is performing. This creates trust and assurance for the employees. The working hours are not very hectic and you can have a good life.
Cons
The products are not that complex, so the value add in terms of product knowledge may not be great. The staff is predominantly Indian which can be a problem for the people from other nationalities. The compensation is on the lower side of the industry average. The bank mainly concentrated in India, is smaller in other parts of the world. So it is not such a big player in UK and may not drive the market. The feedback process is not that well structured as in other international banks. It is done only on a yearly basis which is very bad.
