      Pros

      Support from upper management in progressing in career. If you are entry level, the company trains you up so much before you’re assigned to studies. Plus if you ever get stuck, you have a personal menor. I felt very supported during my time here. Great benefits too.

      Cons

      They are big on staying within a 40 hr work week, but if you are good, you will be working more than that, probably 45-50 hrs. However, you do get paid overtime in PM.

      Pros

      (Worked for PRA Health Sciences, before it became ICON) A good graduate role, with great exposure to the Pharma industry. Line management were friendly and personable.

      Cons

      Role is very 'administrative' - taking meeting minutes, creating spreadsheets and just general admin tasks. Very little personal development, other than a small pay raise every 6-12 months and promotion is purely based on tenure at the company and NOT merit/personal contribution. So there is no incentive to do anything extra, as you won't be rewarded. Little flexibility working from home, and you must call your line manager on the morning if sick. It all felt a bit childish and distrusting. Overall, a decent job for straight out of university, but would go elsewhere within 12-18months. Note: No bonus and very little additional perks.
