Pros

None that I can think of, unless you are in upper management based in Dublin.

Cons

Being unfortunate enough to belong to a company that was acquired by ICON, no matter your skillset or tenure. If you are not a member of the "club", you will be used until you are no longer useful, and will then thrown out like yesterdays rubbish.

Pros

Good opportunities for experience, fairly good PTO (to US standards), health insurance plans can cover quite a bit, and quite a few positions offer decent flexibility for hours.

Cons

Management. So many problems could be solved with this. A lack of standardized pay/raises. Having no HR representation in the building whatsoever. Good luck filing your online “HR Ticket”. They’ll probably get back to you in 10-15 business days. A remote scheduling team that won’t care if you hate them cause you’ll never see them. Creepy as hell supervisors that no one cares about??? Very high turnover rate so the clinic is habitually understaffed year round. You will be doing the work of those who have left. A very weird office environment where some people are a little too comfortable in the office with each other.

Pros

We get a regular paycheck. PTO is okay.

Cons

HR is the worst. Very difficult to get in touch with anyone in that department. Currently “focusing on talent” outside of North America or Western Europe. Company policy established by the CEO. Questions about this new policy have gone unanswered. Can only assume it means there is no potential for job growth for those of us in these regions. Morale is super low. They treat employees like minions. Zero employee support. No training. The one incentive we had, a reward system, was recently cut, too. Seems like they are doing everything they can to get employees to leave. Takes forever to hire someone. Vacant positions going on 5 months now. Management doesn’t address the burden of more work on employees. Although PTO is okay, North America’s PTO is embarrassingly slim compared to European colleagues.
