      Terrible onboarding, lack of training

      Pros

      Work schedule flexibility, good amount of PTO

      Cons

      Major systems are extremely dysfunctional such as AP, HR, and IT. The PRA integration is still ongoing and the company continues to conduct layoffs and close offices throughout the company, especially in the US. Training in certain departments is nearly non-existent. Colleagues and managers are all equally confused by the chaos.

      Pros

      Work with some decent people and you're entirely responsible for your own schedule. Like being dedicated to a single sponsor and only focusing on their SOPs.

      Cons

      Ridiculous monitoring unit credit system where remote visits (including the the ever present SQVs) only count for half a day even when you're spending multiple days interacting with sites and report writing. Absurdly long reimbursement period for travel expenses. I routinely have expense reports approved by my line manager not get paid out for >10 business days post approval.
