Pros

Good learning curve for freshers Decent work life balance, depends on the amount of workload one is willing to take on Good paymaster but no relation of incentives with performance

Cons

Lack of transparency in appraisals, HR policies Limited scope for personal development, training and career progression Low employee engagement Increasing focus on compliance/regulatory related work No communication from top management regarding future plans leads to employees getting blindsided by changes

Pros

The only possible reason to work here, is the nature of work of the analysts. There is a lot of learning involved. That too has been diluted to a certain extent, because some sector heads focus primarily on the quantum of reports, rather than the content.

Cons

-The concept of a corporate culture does not exist at all. Certain branch managers tend to look upon their branches as their personal fiefdoms. A 360 degree review is unheard of -Relationship managers and Sales reps are treated as second rate employees. The senior management are all ex-analysts, hence, the know-it-all attitude. -The top management is extremely short-sighted, with no clue as to where the company is headed in the next 10 years. The corporate debt rating market has been squeezed for nearly all its worth, and they are now scrambling to figure out an alternate revenue stream -The stifling hierarchy and closed mindset ensures that any new ideas, suggestions will not be considered seriously. You would be made to realize that you are in no position to tell your bosses how to run the show -Nepotism and favoritism, which has been mentioned in an earlier review as well. Incompetence is rife in mid-senior level positions.

Pros

ICRA is the Brand Name. So people tend to get attracted to work here. But if one wants to work at the sales end, then this is the worst company because you are give step mother treatment, you are off payroll from ICRA. Decent crowd, no abusive language ever used by anyone.

Cons

NO Appreciation by the management. BIASED opinion system. Partiality for the payroll Guys. Off Payroll-Teamlease. No proper incentive structure. NO future growth.
