Good place to start your career in credit rating. Place is saturated with sector specialists and domain experts. Unrestricted knowledge sharing and good exposure to front end client handling.

Cons

Rigid and Clueless top management with limited experience in credit rating business. Aggressive approach to demonstrate their capabilities to board leading to series of thoughtless and employee toxic decisions. Incapability to upgrade IT infrastructure, retain experienced staffs and plug talent loss. Negative work environment, unrealistic KRAs, overloaded staffs and overburdened sector heads.

Some managers are very supportive (emphasis on some) Learning curve is good in the initial stages You will met top management of leading companies

Cons

The new top management is bad Moody's is a majority shareholder but they have not contributed much Recent restructuring has made things worse Learning curve will stagnate after 1.5-2 years Significant time of your job will be wasted on regulatory and compliance stuff which can easily be automated
