Pros
One usually has ample opportunity for overtime, especially if you are crossed trained to multiple departments. They seem to be making attempts to show greater appreciation for employees. Permanent employees have decent health insurance, adequate PTO, and participate in the annual incentive bonus. Hourly base pay was recently increased to compete with the current job market.
Cons
They rely on borrowing employees from other departments and over timers to fulfill headcount. The frequency of mandatory Saturday overtime is becoming a problem.
