Cons

Purchasing companies without looking under the hood. The recent acquirement of Smiths Medical has been a nightmare with folks not willing to change or improve. Unorganized and operationally a mess.

Pros

In my position I get unlimited PTO/Vacation. Sound great, just try and take any time off. Any PTO time you'd manage to get off they expect you to attend meetings and take your phone and laptop. If you're still here during the rumored buy out, you might get a decent payout. Most everyone else will face layoffs.

Cons

Low pay, 18 hour long days, 2am conference calls and training sessions with India and Poland. No budget, development software or hardware to develop new software and new hardware. Then you're penalize in performance reviews for not meeting deadlines caused by management's lack of leadership or communication.
