Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexible schedules. Good technology that actually makes a difference in people's lives. Nice building, close to my house. Big company opportunities in a small company environment. Lots of accountability--what you do everyday matters!

Cons

Not a lot that I can think of. Some people that have been here through the transition from Abbott to Hospira to Pfizer to ICU Medical are openly lamenting "the good old days." But as someone who was relatively new and who came from a much smaller company I don't see a lot of downsides. Maybe it was better in "the good old days" but it looks pretty good to me so far.

Pros

Products are a benefit to clinicians and provide useful innovation for patients.

Cons

Leadership is abysmal, no clue how to value employees. They are not even good at lip service when trying to engage employees through lies. It is really amateur hour since acquiring Hospira. They are trying to grow up quicker than they are able given they were the minnow swallowing the whale, but should have brought on more experienced leaders to help post acquisition.
