Hard to say what is good. Nepotism? They may hire your kids if you are close to management. Lots of good changes to technology, telephony, networking, and data storage. The Internet is faster.

Cons

January is coming, the old Smiths Medical people will transition to ICU payroll and insurance. We (employees) all hope that ICU is going to replace the top plant management, because while being Smiths Medical we hoped that when ICU comes things are going to change. So far things got worst.

Good coworker but that highly depends on your department

Cons

Poor salary, no clear path to advancement, management/ HR doesn’t know how to utilize internal talents. Even if you have more than the qualifications good luck getting the advancement in your career. In general it is not a good place if you are looking to grow you career.
