Working with a variety of students with disabilities. Job security

Cons

Student teacher ratio, lack of management support, constant aggressive behavior allowed. Poor communication between lead teams and teachers. This place mainly care about their number of enrolled students.

-You get a stable salary -You get summers off (Kinda) -You get weekends off -You feel like you make an impact (Kinda)

Cons

-Pay increase over time is miserable -Depending on subject youre probably going to be working through the first month of summer -Youre so overwhelmed by work that your weekends and evenings are spent lesson planning or grading. -If you come in with the idea of having an impact that will quickly go away once you realize students arent known to appreciate a teacher trying to get them to improve
