This is a very difficult place to work for and are always feeling drained physically and emotionally. You have no life.

The only positive thing about IDEA is that you get the experience to move up if you are lucky!

Cons

You are very over worked extremely hard and are expected to met all standards and high expectations at all times! You also have mandatory meetings twice a week. You need to turn in forms twice a week and mandatory trainings just about every other week.

Pros

Everyone works hard and the mission is great. There is definitely a feeling of team and family and 100% of students do get accepted to college. Overall, the best was working with my wonderful grade team and sharing our ups and downs together.

Cons

Too many turn overs. Teachers are overworked and given little guidance and pressured too much do well in terms of test scores since it affects funding and rankings. I wish culture was emphasized more than grades to teachers though I did see an improvement before I left.
