Pros
-Competitive pay -lots of OT opportunities (which can be considered a con if that gets in the way of work/life balance) -working indoors -LGBTQ+ coworkers -can listen to music/podcasts during your shift if you want to
Cons
-management, they like to bribe workers with "free" lunches that will sit out for an hour or so before you can actually take a break to eat. Only after making TAT for a week and then buy you the food 2 weeks later. delayed gratification. -constant hour changes due to management trying to understand how the lab works which affects your life because they get upset if you can't accommodate the new changes -some managers legit try to gaslight you -work related injuries are constantly happening -high turn over because this job isn't worth the degrading atmosphere
