Pros

Good place for work with great opportunities to grow from a technical perspective, modern and wide stack of technologies with some legacy parts. Ability to influence the product and make decisions, work with infrastructure and so on. Ability to work remotely, almost from any location where you can connect to the internet, and flexible working hours. Not bad corporate equipment. Overall, good people, not bad management.

Cons

Quite a basic benefits package for Poland. Compensation rates are lower than the market value, as well as low percentage of yearly salary increase (usually lower than the inflation rate). From time to time, business and management want quick results at the expense of quality, without allocating time for improvements in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We aim to have a diverse workforce with team members by offering competitive compensation through out the world and in some locations, we are unable to have a local office or specific benefits, but we try to make up for that with different compensation structures. We value your notes on compensation and project pacing and we are continuously reviewing our global salary benchmarks and internal processes to ensure we are balancing business speed with high-quality output.

Pros

Competitive Salary. Comprehensive Benefits: Medical insurance, gym reimbursement, and English language lessons.

Cons

Abysmal Onboarding: No structured training. Manager explicitly stated, "I won’t teach you – you’re not an intern," expecting self-taught mastery of outdated documentation. Unrealistic Expectations: Criticized for not finding bugs in smoke tests within days of joining, despite being new to the project. Manager demanded "indispensable" contributions in 2 weeks. Micromanagement: Mandatory daily Slack status updates. Chaotic Workflows: Daily "30-minute" meetings dragging to 1 hour with 20+ attendees. Lack of Resources: Critical testing equipment withheld for weeks, blocking core app functionality. Outdated Processes: many of test cases obsolete, documentation unreliable.

Thank you for sharing your experience. At IDT, we have rigorous standards and the fast-paced nature of our work. Our interview pipeline is designed to be transparent about these expectations. We look for proactive problem-solvers who can synthesize information quickly and drive results from day one. While we are always evaluating our onboarding processes, and access points, and we will continue to refine our documentation and meeting efficiency, while we remain committed to an environment that rewards independence and high-quality output over hand-holding.
