Worked for IHC 30+ years, sorry to say that the healthcare system I used to be so proud of, is now an embarrassment.

Great staff to work with! I felt well paid for my position.
Cons
Terrible management and upper management. They have lost touch with people actually caring for the patients. The morale is so low among staff members. The general feeling is that their opinions and lives do not matter to management. Management is encouraged to be cold, cruel and calculating. Those managers are most rewarded and valued. Staff members are made to work ill or are in danger of reprimand. I have been deeply saddened by the negative changes that have come down from management in the past years. I used to be so proud to say I worked for IHC, and would recommend it to everyone. Now I am not sure they are the best system that I once thought they were. I am thankful to be at the end of my career and feel sorry for the younger generation of nurses who must continue to suffer in such a negative environment.
