Ikea - Take Care

Pros

Ikea has great opportunities, and they are available to those who pursue them aggressively. Anyone who want to be a store decorator and wants to travel globally on the company should definitely consider a career with Ikea. Pay is better than most retailers, and Ikea has a secure business model.

Cons

If you are not willing to relocate, career growth opportunities will be very limited. Internal turnover in good store jobs is very limited, so patience is required to get the job you want. Most jobs in the store are part time. It's very high volume retail, so the work environment is stressfull. Pay raises are minimal, you need to advance to get paid.
