      Good place to work with some flaws

      Pros

      -Modern office with nice amenities, great benefits for industry -Work with pretty smart people -Not a lot of pressure relative to competitors -Constantly learning and contributing -Pretty good compensation relative to industry

      Cons

      -Not a lot of great talent -Long hours. All traders work at least 11-12 hours a day. -Not as good as competitors -Traders rarely communicate with other desks; desks aren't siloed but desks almost seem to operate on their own -Doesn't feel like anyone really likes each other. People just work and leave. At Friday happy hours maybe 10% of the office shows up. -Fair amount of turnover even though they don't like to admit it. People leave or get fired (more of the former, but still some of the latter).

      Pros

      -In comparison to my peers, I am working on way cooler things and have had more opportunities and impact early on in my career. They throw you on a desk and you learn by doing. - The benefits are the best I've seen; we are spoiled with company events, trips, free food and drinks constantly - I hang out with a lot of my colleagues since people are from all of the US and world - Working with really smart and motivated people - Global: I've had the opportunity to work at our overseas office and work on global teams

      Cons

      - Working with smart and motivated people can turn the pressure on at times and you don't want to disappoint - The industry itself is very competitive; if you don't like competition then it is not for you - There has been a lot of change over the years which comes with building a company. You have to be comfortable with change here and be agile

      Thanks for the review! Our aim has always been to have a great benefits plan to make life easier, which is why we also enjoy offering a lot of free perks. I agree that we work among some of the best in the industry and one of my favorite parts about IMC has been the opportunity to work with a diverse group from around the world while also having the opportunity to work in our overseas offices. I think this is something that makes us a unique place to work! I agree that it is not for everyone and we will continue to do our best to be transparent with candidates so that people that come on board relish the challenge and commit to IMC for the long run.

      solid company with unlimited potential

      Pros

      Fast paced, constantly improving to get better, lots of collaboration between individuals and teams. Everyone is making an effort to help, positive environment. Very clear future vision and it is communicated to all employees. All the strategic directions got refocused recently.

      Cons

      Hard to keep track of all changes. Sometime people eager to reinvent the wheel. Processes/procedures need to be more polished.
