Pros

It is a great training ground for macro economists, where you will continue your education in applied macroeconometrics. It also has a large group of very smart, very dedicated, very thoughtful Ph.D. economists—something few other employers can offer.

Cons

The bureaucracy is stifling, with far too much paper work and too many internal procedures. Given the large amount of talent in the building, you would not know it, as you are not encouraged and compensated to have a public role.

Pros

Diverse employees Great office spaces Good benefits for everyone except American nationals Flexible working conditions

Cons

Promotion is non-existent. Without a vigilant and active staff member assisting the staff member with a career opportunity, there is no opportunity at all. Most of the staff are pigeoned holed. For US nationals, particularly people of color the work experience will be difficult.
