Pros

Benefits, exposure to international issues, professionalism, top-notch coworkers, and outstanding exposure to lecture series and presentations by industry and area leaders.

Cons

Limited career advancement without a Ph.D. Definitely not a private sector work environment. Junior staff see the impact of their work but don't necessarly present it to mgmt.

Pros

Career advancement, opportunity to work on big problems. Long Term employment opportunities. Opportunity to learn new skill and software. Good benefits and salary if you are Fund Staff

Cons

An approach that is at times bureaucratic as different departments coordiante their goals and applications. This can lead to longer development times.
