Pros

Pay is reasonable benefits are good. The equity scheme is a real benefit that one day should pay off with great rewards.

Cons

Flat organization and rigid business organization along product lines makes growth and advancement a real challenge. It is almost impossible to change business due to the equity scheme.

Pros

Flexible work hours, other employees create a somewhat close-knit work family and they meet on a semi-regular basis, the jobs can be interesting and creative.

Cons

Management ego is brutal, uninspiring and out of touch with employees. There is no support, authority, or budget, but employees are expected to get the job done as if they had these tools. The management knows nothing about the science. They emphasize profitability and cost cutting. Promises of bonuses and raises not kept. Long hours with no over-time compensation. Harsh employee reviews with justification. No training. Expect to do the work of 2-3 people at a salary way below scale. Don't get sick, don't get hurt, don't think, as arbitrary task schedules take precident. This comes too close to a sweat shop environment.

Pros

Leadership focused on making a long term healthy business, compensation was better than average based on job titles, opportunities to grow professionally and learn more aspects of the business

Cons

No frills organization, limited resources means that you have to do several different jobs with little support (also part of the pro's), limited product portfolio at the moment
