Pros

Great co- workers, loved the patients.

Cons

Horrible leadership,. Poor work life balance, HR will black ball you- they don’t care about the employees- only there to protect the integrity of the company. Cannot cash out PTO if you have worked there less than 3 years. Cannot take vested money with you if there less than 3 years. Cannot transfer to another department if your current dept. is short staffed. Leadership will block transfers if they need you to stay due to low staffing. ( even though low staffing is due to poor leadership) Higher leadership- CNO, HR etc. will protect department heads over any complaints- it’s all about financial production. They will hold any absences against you. Everything goes in your file. Feels like you’re walking on eggshells. Manager will triangulate employees, and go behind your back to check on you. All decisions and “policies” work in their favor, and they will use policy against you. Get to know ALL policies. I would not recommend working in PACU/SAU at Integris , Edmond. No bonuses for picking up extra shifts, or call, or end of year if company/department met quotas/ financials.. Management , with the help of HR rep. actually attempted to block my transfer twice under false pretences- then managed to block it 1 1/2 weeks later, after falsely accusing me of being disrespectful. This was after I handed in my resignation. I made calls to HR inquiring about the policy - then they used it against me. Said I was a disgruntled employee and insubordinate because I made a couple of calls to HR exploring my rights. Bottom line- you can’t call HR , even in confidence. They all will talk and create a story to CYA and put blame on you. I have never heard of any company keeping people against there will, and then filing a false grievance against them after submitting a resignation letter. Very toxic leadership. Needless to say , I resigned.

Pros

Some great folks in the local hospitals… But be VERY wary of the corporate greed.

Cons

Gave a three weeks notice only to find out that my three weeks of PTO would not be paid out because I was there less than three years. Not to mention after I left, they called me numerous times, asking questions, needing information, etc. Corporate greed at its finest. Moral of the story, be sure to use your PTO. It doesn’t pay to be a good employee at Integris health.
