Pros

Gave a 1 because 0 was not an option.

Cons

With the benefits, you have to use Integris only with labs, X-Rays it is cheaper to pay out of pocket elsewhere. Holidays are not paid unless you have worked and accrued enough hours to pay yourself, and if they close due to weather they take it from your accrued time. Extra time is not allowed to be worked to make up for 2 hr appointments, it has to be taken from your accrued time. If you do not have accrued time for scheduled time off because of closing, the scheduled time will be denied because not enough accrued time is available. As an employee I went to the ER in severe pain, was put in the hall on a bench and left there, 2 hours later I left and went to another hospital untreated by Integris. They care more about money than the patients or their employees. Stay away

Pros

This is a great place if you like chaos and mental stress.

Cons

The CEO, CIO, CFO and others on that level are making devastating decisions to reorg the IT department by outsourcing to an India corporation. Approximately 40 people have left the organization due to the turmoil they have caused. This includes the previous CIO and 2 IT VPs. The IT employees are under unnecessary mental stress and fatigue. The board members need to engage themselves and talk to the staff regarding the work ethics of IT. The staff have many years of knowledge and dedication that is being destroyed. Definitely an unhealthy environment for anyone in the INTEGRIS IT Department.

INTEGRIS Does Not Care About Employees

Pros

It's a healthcare company and as an employee (or "caregiver") I have the opportunity to help people; some during the worst part of their lives. How can you not take pride in that?

Cons

INTEGRIS has struggled to make money the past few years so a "turnaround" was, without a doubt, necessary. However, the approach the new executive leadership has taken so far is shameful. Leadership, Tim Pehrson, does not care about the people. We had a reduction in force back in August, where 171 people lost their jobs. Many of the cuts were done without any questions asked. Don't you think, Mr. Pehrson, it would have been a good idea to ask about the ramifications some of these cuts would have? Some of these cuts eliminated crucial touchpoints with our customers and put undue stress on those "caregivers" left behind. INTEGRIS is not the company it once was. Our "Values" of Love, Learn, and Lead are nothing but ancient history. How can anyone take pride in their employer when they fear losing their job every day? I cannot recommend this place to anyone at the moment. Some day the tide will turn, hopefully.
