Some Good some Bad

Pros

Patient care is cutting edge healing. See/do things other hospitals in this area do not have available. Therapist autonomy, Great physicians

Cons

Company has a lay off about every 18 months. In my time as an Admin. Director I had to participate in 5 lay off's in about 7 years. This reduces morale and buy in to company by bedside workers and always ends up costing money because good people leave out of fear and you have to hire and train after the lay offs. Salary is generally significantly below other employers in this area.

Pros

The Benefits are fair. Better than some places but much less than other companies of equal size/industry.

Cons

Although they say they care about their employees, their actions speak louder than their words. Regularly asked to do more with less. Managers were told to only give their employees a 2% employee review/pay raise regardless of how much or how well the employee performed. Did not feel listened to or appreciated. Way too top heavy in upper management and always adding more positions for friends. While downsizing underneath them.

Professional work environment with compassionate caregivers. Employee-led initiatives to build a better workplace (employee luncheons, contests, fun activities). Professional Development Plans to strategize your growth within the system. INTEGRIS Leadership Institute: the place to hone leadership skills. The ability to move within the system to other jobs/departments/locations. Competitive pay.

Cons

Nothing against the system, but traffic can be a beast outside!
