Pros

There are some very talented people working at ipsen. The company has great ambitions. Sadly to say I cannot list any further benefits.

Cons

Staff treated very poorly. Lack of appreciation and staff are disposed of quite suddenly. Unless you are a favourite of the leadership team, no matter how hard you work, it will not be acknowledged or appreciated. Regarding the recent restructure - I have never in my 25 years of working experience come across a more disorganised and poorly communicated redundancy procedure. Nor have I ever seen such an aggressive HR director with bullying tactics. Policies and procedures do not work, and are often not communicated well. There is constant change to process because the previous one was not effective, Staff turnover is high. If you would like to be treated with respect, and fairly, do not work for this company. Morale is exceptionally low. Leadership team are very cliquey. Ipsen can make you feel extremely drained and unmotivated. Right now....this place is one big mess - stay away.

A challenging Environment in Slough

Pros

Pay well and keen to employ high achievers. Lots of great colleagues. Wrexham appears to get very good reviews but Slough commercial side not.

Cons

The restructure was and is a mess. HR should really look at how they have managed to destroy morale in an organisation. Everyone knows who has jobs but no communication means people relying on word on the street. Some really strange appointments to senior leadership positions with very little experience. Some fantastic people let go or put into positions that don't reflect what they bring and others promoted with no experience or apparent talent.

Pros

Excellent products with strong growth potential. Strong sales growth in past year Bold ambition of 1 new product or major indication launch per year from now on Strong new CEO

Cons

Recent commercial restructure has been a car crash. Executed too quickly to meet management objectives rather than keeping the needs of employees involved at heart. Whole thing was poorly delivered and communicated and has resulted in low morale and some poor internal appointments when external hires would have been better for the business. Lack of,or poor processes which hinder agility. Sub-standard reward and recognition scheme and no consistency in recognition of a job well done
