      Growing Pains Following Merger

      Pros

      Pay was very competitive. RTP campus is nice and most people there are friendly and easy to work with. A fast paced environment with many opportunities to get experience and potentially advanced.

      Cons

      Even after 2 years post merger, the company was still very disorganized. My department went through at least 3 reorgs since the merger of Quintiles and IMS . Health care benefits were worse following the merger. Many folks have left from the Quintiles side and many others thinking about doing the same.

      Pros

      Warm employees, great discounts both locally and through perkspot, offers reimbursement for wellness needs like gym memberships, amazingly flexible work schedule, great onboarding in terms of the help you get in the beginning

      Cons

      High Stress Levels, Large turnover so scarce resourcing help on studies, management only tells you they notice or work or value when you say you're considering leaving, Management doesn't work on studies with you so they have no clear views of what or how much/little you do, pay is better at other CROs, benefits are expensive, not explanatory/concise about what is actually a duty of the position
