      Pros

      Excellent exposure to breadth of phase and therapeutic area. Very clear development for clinical employees.

      Cons

      support staff are under resourced, and development opportunities are few and far between for them.

      Pros

      Few layers of bureaucracy People are rewarded for innovation Management listens to employees and implements changes with employee feedback Exposure to many different therapeutic areas allows an employee to learn many things quickly.

      Cons

      Very difficult to navigate for new employees Hard to learn and get used to the matrix system Difficult to learn because of the enormous flexibility within each job function. Do not go to Quintiles if you expect a lot of hand-holding.

      Great training and opportunities to be exposed to many different Customers, drugs, development strategies with excellent opportunity to build your personal network.

      Cons

      Difficult to advance your career in some areas, but some management 'in with the bricks' that led to frustration amongst talented staff. I saw some great people leave but many returned......
